- Joshua is a good kid. Mary and I think he is a keeper.
- He has an easy smile and we love it. He has tried to laugh on a couple of occasions, but he can't yet.
- Grace knows how to make him "talk". He could be our chattiest child at the rate he is going. Heaven help us, if that is the case.
- He is doing alright sleeping. In the last three weeks he has slept through the night twice, slept at least a 5 hour stretch seven or eight times and woken up every three hours the remaining 11 days. He is all over the map, but we hope to find a reasonable schedule soon. If not, people will continue to ask us if we sleep much. (They only ask that because it is plainly evident that we are not sleeping well right now.)

Joshua Update
Most of you read to find out about Joshua. If you are in that crowd, here some notes and pictures for you:
One more note. We got this helium-filled balloon not long after Joshua was born. We could not believe how long it lasted. We keep our home quiet cold and that is not good for a balloon. This is a picture of it on the day it finally began to sink about seven weeks later.

You're missing an update. What is the nickname? Squish-Squash Josh? Joshua Squashua? Baby Hua?
We still use a number of different nicknames for Joshua. I am sure that will be the case for a while. There is no need to rush into a good nickname.
