Today's News and Pictures
Mary is still in the hospital. The nursery was not overly helpful last night, so she decided to come home today. The last thing she needed was a bilirubin screen for Joshua and she was on her way. Hyperbilirubinemia comes back. Not what we were hoping for. So, Joshua is under the light in the nursery tonight and we hope the count is lower tomorrow and they can be discharged.

Caleb calls this his race car. Fortunately, he has not pushed it around quickly. He did try to take it out of the nursery with Joshua in it. A voice over the intercom says, "Baby near the door, please stand back." The power of the electronic bracelet on babies in the hospital. (Grace actually took this picture.)
Here is some of the recent art work. Caleb set this up this morning before we left to the hospital.
This installment piece is the follow on to Grace's Alphanumeric in Limbo.

Whoa. The new art work. Does Grace know the significance of 42?
This reductive work based on Alphanumeric in Limbo uses pop culture reference points as a prism of the distorted perception of reality proffered by a misled world.
Or at least that is what Grace tells me. I thought it just looked nice.
Clara's wanted me to ask if the inclusion of "American Girl" in the Christian symbology is meant to signify modern Christianity's descent into commercialism and the 42's in Aaron and Hur's stead significes reliance on pop culture.
