Drive-Thru Posting (Updated)

I have a couple of stories to share, but not enough time to write them up. Here is the short version.

• Caleb loves ice cream and pudding. His favorite flavor is vanilla. Unfortunately, he cannot pronounce it. It comes out "valilla".
• We were eating breakfast this morning and Grace put both of her arms on the table (two lines) next to her cereal bowl (a circle). Then she said, "Look Dad, it is one hundred and ten."
• Mary taught about the joy of order/organization for pre-school today. Talk about serendipity.
• The other night we were giggling on the bed. I was joking with Caleb that he needed a pinch on the bottom. He looked at me and said, "Don't pinch my bottom. Its a special bottom."
• Mary's nickname is Mimi. My nephew, Andrew, called her that before he could say Mary properly and it stuck. Caleb knows that is Mary's nickname and has come up with his own. Periodically he calls her "Meem" (rhymes with beam).
• Caleb found a Hershey's Kiss in his bed the other day. Mary asked him what a Hershey's Kiss was doing in his bed. Caleb said, "I'm just lucky Mom."
• Caleb has taken to schoolwork lately. He has started to draw his first people and recently began filling out his school papers with attempts at letters. Three and a half seems to be the age where our children begin to do schoolwork.
• Caleb always uses two hands to show you a number. One hand has three fingers up and the other is holding the remaining two fingers down.
• Tonight Grace and Caleb were working with the magnetic alphabet by the fridge. What were they doing? Writing out words or their names? No, they were sorting them by color groups. You need to get organized first.
