It Can Be Just Perfect

Yesterday we got Chinese for lunch to celebrate Mary running a 5K. (Yes, she has been running a bit this year. It is her favorite form of exercise. That will change with the coming cold weather, but she has enjoyed it. Mary on running, "I'm a mom, not a runner.") The food came with the obligatory fortune cookies. The children picked theirs first. Caleb's fortune was: "Work on your diplomatic skills and avoid conflict at all costs."

That is solid advice from a cookie.
